The Black Queens have resumed training on Monday ahead of their crucial 2026 WAFCON qualifier against Egypt, bringing an end to their two-day strike over unpaid bonuses.

HappySports reports that GFA President Kurt Okraku met with the players at their hotel in Accra earlier in the day to help resolve the standoff between the team and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.

Following constructive discussions, the team’s leadership agreed to return to training and shift full focus to Tuesday’s decisive clash.

Ghana heads into the second leg with a 3-0 advantage from the first encounter in Egypt, positioning themselves strongly for qualification to next year’s WAFCON in Morocco.
