The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has formally charged Asante Kotoko over alleged threats and assaults on match officials during their Matchday 12 clash with Medeama SC.

According to the committee’s statement, Kotoko failed to ensure the safety of officials by allowing unauthorized individuals into Zone 2 at halftime, where the incidents reportedly took place—constituting a violation of the 2025 Enhanced Matchday Protocols.

Asante Kotoko has been given until Wednesday, December 3, to submit their response to the charges.

In the said game, Asante Kotoko were held to a 2-2 draw against Medeama.
