The Black Starlets have touched down in Côte d’Ivoire ahead of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations.

The team left Accra on Monday after weeks of intensive scouting, training, and conditioning at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh-Ogum, the former Asante Kotoko and WAFA trainer, will lead Ghana’s quest to qualify for the next edition of the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Starlets have been drawn in Group A with host nation Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Niger. They begin their campaign against Togo on Saturday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m. Ghana will then face Côte d’Ivoire on Tuesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m., before wrapping up the group stage against Niger on Friday, September 26, at 3:00 p.m.

This year’s tournament, which doubles as the official qualification event for the U-17 AFCON, will run from September 20 to October 3, 2025, in Yamoussoukro.
