GHANA IS ON A REVERSE NOT A RESET

To have patients see doctors without their historical records Becos of suspension of the digital medical records is a reverse not a reset

To have the drone system for some areas non functional is a reverse not a reset

To pay only 1 month to a teacher or a nurse who has worked for 12 months is a reverse to the 2013-2016 NDC 3months pay policy, not a reset

Galamsey has escalated to alarming levels with the state fucntionaries not able to even enter some forests and NDC party functionaries like the upper Denkyira East Chairman caught on camera enabling Galamsey, is a reverse not a reset

Inflation drops from 23% to 6%, dollar to cedi moves from 14 cedis to 11 cedis and yet prices of goods continue to climb at a faster rate, that’s surely a reverse not a reset

Electricity tariffs have been increased by 28% and water by 15% in in the first 12 months, when In the whole of 2017 & 2018, there was no utility tariffs increase. That was the first 24months of the previous govt. That’s a reverse not a reset.

When you increase public sector workers salary by 9% at a time when their utility has been increased by 28%. That’s a reverse, not a reset.

If under 12months you terminate job appointments of your own citizens and render close to 35,000 young people unemployed when you actually promised them a 3-shift job system under a 24hour economy. That’s a Reverse, not a Reset.

The NDC party in opposition opposed the purchase of a new presidential jet citing the existing one to be in pristine condition and no need for a new one. Then under 12months, you order a $60milion dollars Presidential jet for the President to bath and cook fried rice in the air. When the pristine presidential jet is still on the tarmac. That’s a reverse, not a reset.

The first 12months of the NDC in office has been a period of Reverse rather than the Reset they promised us.

For most Ghanaians, there are no suprises here since we already know the NDC and this is exactly who they are.

The real affected people are our young GenZs who in all fairness needed to experience the NDC by themselves. It has been a heartbreaking experience.

To the Genz Nursing and teacher Graduate who is stuck at home after believing in the NDC’s promise of automatic posting.

To the Genz unemployed who genuinely believed in a sexy 24hour economy where public sector institutions will have 3 people do same work and work from morning to morning. Where the banks will be opened at 2am for you to cash your cheque. Where the Night club will operate all the time even at 11am in the morning. Where Waakye sellers will sell Waakye round the clock. Where industries will be given time of use electricity so they work round the clock

To the GenZ patriotic citizen who genuinely believed the NDC when they said Nana Akufo-Addo was the one digging the ground and doing Galamsey, and believed the NDC were the solution to Galamsey, for which reason you voted against Dr. Bawumia in anger. You could not have known the Galamsey in its current form was introduced by the NDC government around 2010.

To the GenZ who believed the NDC when they lied about Akufo-Addo wanting to bath in the air and that’s why he needed a new presidential jet.

To you all Genzs, who feel disappointed within the last 12 months based on the hope the NDC sold to you. Do not be despair. It is not your fault and couldn’t have been your fault. You are primed to experience things yourself before believing and that’s a fair postition to take.

But it’s not too late, the NDC have 36 more months to go and 2 more budgets to read. Let’s work together and get them to focus on the most important things. The things that matter most to you and deliver them for you.

You need your jobs as they promised and they must deliver

You need a lower cost of living as they promised and they must deliver.

You are not asking for too much. You are not asking for why they didn’t promise. You are simply asking them to do as they said.

They cannot give excuses, they cannot continue to reverse the country. They should simply stay focused on the bread and butter issues and get the job done for you.

This is a fight you must win and we will be here to fight with you. Not for the politics of it, but to add to your voices to speed up the process of getting a hugely distracted government to hear you, notice you and focus on your needs.
