The Man From Nowhere Is Taking Everything
Seven presidents before him. Five from gold country. Two from regions with none.
All left the vaults alone.
The eighth comes from Savannah. Not an ounce of gold in the soil.
He is bleeding the reserves dry.
The President Who Had Gold And Took Nothing
Nkrumah came from Western Region. Gold everywhere. He built dams, not dynasties.
Busia came from Bono Region. Gold beneath his feet. He served and left.
Kufuor came from Ashanti. The gold capital. Eight years with treasury keys. The gold stayed buried.
Akufo-Addo came from Eastern Region. Gold, diamonds, timber, cocoa. He survived COVID and global economic storms. Never touched the vault.
Five presidents. Five gold regions. Five clean exits.
The President Who Had Nothing And Took Nothing
Limann came from Upper West. No gold. Full access to national wealth as president. But he died poor.
Rawlings came from Volta. No minerals. Nineteen years in power. Left with nothing.
Mills came from Central Region. A land with gold and other minerals.
He served until death. The vault remained untouched.
Two presidents. No gold in their regions. Still didn’t steal ours.
The Man From Nowhere
John Mahama comes from Savannah Region.
No gold. No diamonds. No minerals.
But he has brothers. And brothers have appetites for minerals.
In his first term, Ibrahim needed our diamonds. The Digya concession. Sole-sourced. Family business disguised as mining contract.
Ghanaians said no. 2016: Booted out.
The Second Coming: Thirteen Months Of Systemic Looting
The thieves called it a “Reset.”
It was a smash-and-grab dressed in slogans.
Thirteen months:
· GoldBod loses $214 million. “Accounting costs.” No investigation.
· Ghana sold 18 tonnes at $3,500 per ounce. And bought back at $5,500 per ounce.
$1.27 billion vanished.
· Ibrahim borrows $305 million for his failing companies.
Then within 13 months of his brother’s presidency, he bought a $70 million Bombardier Global 6500 Jet. The math screams.
· The President flies to Seoul on his brother’s jet. Not state aircraft. Not commercial. But
His brother’s wings.
The Agyapadie Mirror
In 2024, they invented Agyapadie.
A forgery. A fiction. A three-hundred-year Akyem plot to steal Ghana’s wealth.
They screamed it everywhere. Spent every dollar their Presidential-Preneurs could pump into the campaign.
The accusation was preparation.
They were warning us about themselves.
While shouting “Agyapadie,” they were already positioning:
· Sammy Gyamfi at GoldBod
· Ibrahim’s companies at mineral sites
· The President on his brother’s jet
The man from the gold region was accused of planning theft.
The man from nowhere was already executing it.
The Agyapadie document was a mirror. They showed us their own face and called it ours. Nana Akufo-Addo’s. The Ofori-Atta’s.
The Iron Law
Proximity breeds respect. Distance breeds extraction.
When gold is in your soil, it belongs to your ancestors. Your children. Your people.
You protect it. Because it is home.
When gold is not yours, it is “theirs.” And “theirs” becomes “mine” when you have power and no roots.
Nkrumah, Kufuor, Atta-Mills, Akufo-Addo: Gold was their heritage. They left it intact.
Limann, Rawlings: Gold wasn’t theirs. They still didn’t touch it.
Mahama: Gold isn’t his. And he is draining the vault into his brother’s jet fuel.
The Vault Became A Vehicle
GoldBod is not managing reserves.
It is converting them.
From bars in the vault to wings in the sky. Into special accounts
· $214 million: Harvested.
· 18 tonnes of gold: Relay-thefted. (Ghana sold cheap. Ghost bought. Ghana buys back expensive. The Ghost flies.)
· $70 million jet: The receipt.
The CEO (Sammy Gyamfi) answers to the brother (Ibrahim).
The brother answers to the President (John).
The President answers to no one. Because the Council of State is lame. Parliament is rubber stamp and the media is breathing gold.
This is not a parastatal. This is a family ATM with a state logo.
The Question That Won’t Go Away
Why is the only president from a region without gold the only one stealing it?
Because strangers don’t protect. They plunder.
Seven presidents. Seven different regions.
The five from gold country guarded it.
The two from regions without gold respected it anyway.
The eighth from nowhere is liquidating it.
One family. Thirteen months. $ 214 million gone.
$1.27 billion gone.
This is not coincidence. This is conquest.
The vault has wings now.
And the man who owns neither the gold nor the jet is flying to Seoul in both.
Geography. Greed. And a presidency converted into a mining permit.
