The Korea Football Association (KFA) has officially confirmed that the South Korean national team will face Ghana in an international friendly in Seoul on November 18, 2025.

The match will be the second fixture on Ghana’s Asian tour, following their clash with Japan on November 14, as both nations step up preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a statement published by the KFA and widely reported across Korean media, the fixture has been described as a headline international showdown, highlighting the growing anticipation around the meeting between the two World Cup-bound teams.

The upcoming encounter will rekindle memories of their thrilling 2022 FIFA World Cup Group H clash, where Ghana triumphed 3-2 thanks to goals from Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus, while Cho Gue-sung netted twice for Korea.

For Ghana, the Seoul friendly provides head coach Otto Addo with a vital opportunity to assess his squad, fine-tune tactical setups, and build momentum ahead of next year’s global tournament.

Meanwhile, the Taeguk Warriors see the game as a key test of their form and competitiveness against a dynamic African side.

The Seoul showdown promises to be an exciting continuation of the Ghana–Korea rivalry on the international stage.
