The founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has issued a stern warning against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, describing him as a dangerous figure who should not be allowed anywhere near political power.
The outspoken cleric made the remarks in a Facebook post ahead of the NPP’s early presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
In the post, which has since attracted widespread attention on social media, Prophet Gaisie accused individuals associated with Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign of manipulating his videos to promote their political agenda.
He expressed strong displeasure at what he described as deliberate misrepresentation of his words, stressing that he has no intention of supporting or associating with the former Assin Central Member of Parliament’s bid.
“Somebody should tell Kennedy’s team to stop editing my videos to suit their interest. I am still Nigel Gaisie,” the prophet wrote, distancing himself from any political alignment with the aspirant.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie also revisited a past incident involving Kennedy Agyapong, claiming that the politician once made false statements about him that could have landed him in prison fi not for the intervention of a third party.
“Kennedy lied about me, but for Hon. Theresa Awuni, I would have been in jail by now,” he alleged.
The cleric made it clear that he harbours no personal, political or financial interest in the NPP primaries and does not wish to be drawn into the contest in any form.
He warned Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team to refrain from contacting him or mentioning his name in connection with the race.
“I have no private interest in their campaign. They should not invite me,” he stated, adding in a mix of English and local expressions that any attempt to involve him would not end well.
Prophet Gaisie repeated his warning several times, stressing that he wants to remain completely detached from the process.
“They should not annoy me or invite me. I am thinking about myself,” he cautioned.
In his most forceful statement, the controversial prophet openly questioned Kennedy Agyapong’s temperament and suitability for national leadership, arguing that his character makes him unfit for high office.
“Kennedy is a dangerous character and must not be allowed close to power,” he declared.
