A teacher at Kade Senior High School in the Eastern Region is recovering after a group of students attacked him on campus, an incident that has sparked concern among parents and school authorities.
The teacher, known among students for enforcing strict rules meant to restore discipline at the school, was reportedly targeted by a group unhappy with his approach.
A video widely shared on social media shows the students ambushing him, beating him with tree branches and slapping him as he tried to defend himself.
School officials say they are working with the Ghana Education Service to investigate the attack and identify everyone involved. They have also promised to take disciplinary action once the facts are confirmed.
GES officials say the safety of teachers and students remains a priority, and they will not hesitate to intervene if further steps are needed to restore order on the campus.
