A leading member of the New Patriotic Party’s national communication team, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi, has declared that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win the upcoming NPP presidential race, scheduled for January 2026.

Speaking to the media, Lawyer Adomako Baafi confidently stated that Dr. Bawumia has proven his dedication, commitment, and loyalty to the party—especially during its time in opposition. He believes the Vice President’s long standing service to the NPP gives him a clear edge in the flagbearer race.

According to him, although all five contenders in the race are strong candidates, their supporters must avoid insults and divisive language. He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia continues to urge his team to focus on unity, peace, and positive campaigning not violence or internal destruction.

Lawyer Adomako Baafi made these remarks at the 50th anniversary celebration of the SDA Church National Choir Union, held at the Kumasi Cultural Centre. He represented Dr. Bawumia at the event, where the Vice President served as the guest speaker.
