President John Mahama will on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, receive the final report and recommendations on the Bawku conflict mediation from the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday, December 9, by the Minister for Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who noted that the presentation will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the Presidency.

The report crowns months of mediation efforts led by the Asantehene, whose involvement has been central to the national reconciliation process aimed at addressing the long-standing tensions in Bawku.

Government officials say the presentation will shape the next steps toward securing lasting peace in the area.
