Nana Asafo Adjei Ayeh, Member of Parliament for Bosome-Freho, has criticised the administration of President John Mahama, saying its promises have largely remained on paper.
Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana show, Mr. Ayeh said the Mahama government “looks good on paper,” stresing a gap between the administration’s pledges and actual delivery.
He argued that Ghanaians are eager for tangible results rather than plans written on paper.
“The government needs to work on paying cocoa farmers and creating employment for the people,” he said, stressing the urgency of translating policy into action.
Mr. Ayeh’s comments reflect ongoing scrutiny from opposition voices, who continue to question the effectiveness of the National Democratic Congress’s policies amid economic challenges.
He urged the NDC-Mahama-led administration to prioritise concrete outcomes over rhetoric to address the country’s pressing needs.
