The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Head of Safety and Security, Mr. John Ansah, has issued a warning regarding ticket sales and security measures for the Black Stars game.
In an exclusive interview with Gideon Okyere Anim (also known as Gattuso) on Original TV, Mr. Ansah made it clear that there will be no ticket sales at the stadium on the match day, Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Fans hoping to attend the game are advised to make their ticket purchases in advance, as there will be no opportunity to buy tickets at the venue.
The announcement comes after the GFA successfully distributed all complimentary and media accreditations for the game, leaving no space for additional onsite sales.
With heightened anticipation surrounding this crucial World Cup Qualifier, the GFA also stressed that security will be exceptionally tight. Mr. Ansah emphasized that measures are being put in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, with law enforcement and security personnel positioned across the stadium to maintain order and prevent any disruptions.
“We want the game to be a celebration of football, but also a safe environment for everyone. It’s essential that fans understand the importance of adhering to these measures for the sake of their own safety and to ensure the match goes off without a hitch,” he stated.
The Black Stars will face off against Comoros in their final World Cup Qualifier, hoping to secure a win that could determine their future in the tournament.
