ASHANTI REGION – Presidential hopeful and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has sent a strong message to party faithful as he wrapped up his Ashanti Regional tour.

Speaking during engagements with former executives, MMDCEs, and Members of Parliament, Dr. Adutwum dismissed claims that he was only testing his popularity in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.

“I have not come to test waters; I have come to win,” stressing that his campaign is built on vision and transform lives.

Dr. Adutwum outlined bold policies centered on his conviction that the greatest challenge facing Ghana today is poverty.

He pledged to wage a relentless war against poverty by rolling out practical, people centered initiatives.

Among his plans, Dr. Adutwum promised to, Transform business research centers into prosperity centers to drive innovation and economic growth.

Train 100 engineers yearly in each constituency to empower the youth with technical skills for national development.

Appoint an Advisor for Party Affairs to strengthen the NPP’s internal structures and unity.

Establish a Patriotic Insurance Fund to provide social protection for party members.

Launch a Patriotic Scholarship Fund to support the education of children of dedicated NPP members.

After his tour, Dr. Adutwum expressed satisfaction with the strong attendance of former executives, noting that they not only understood his message but also responded positively. According to him, the warm reception and overwhelming support show clearly that the grassroots are ready to vote him as the next leader of the NPP.

The former Education Minister assured party supporters that his vision is not only to lead the NPP but also to build a prosperous Ghana that creates opportunities for all.
