A significant number of party executives in the Bantama Constituency have publicly thrown their support behind former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.

In all, fifteen out of the nineteen electoral area coordinators and fourteen of the seventeen constituency executives have endorsed Dr Bawumia, signalling strong grassroots backing for his candidacy.

The endorsement was announced during a campaign visit when the Bantama Constituency Chairman, Fiifi Mensah, together with the First Vice Chairman, Kingsley Atta, addressed party delegates.

They cited growing confidence in Dr Bawumia’s leadership qualities and vision for the party’s future.

Mr Mensah noted that efforts are underway to secure the support of the remaining delegates, stressing that Dr Bawumia has already demonstrated the leadership and readiness needed to lead the NPP to victory in the 2028 general elections.

He therefore urged delegates across the country to vote massively for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday, January 31, to lead the NPP into the 2028 elections.
