Ekow Vincent Assafuah says he has evidence contradicting the National Pensions Regulatory Authority’s denial of recent vehicle purchases.
The MP revealed that he obtained confirmation from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) showing that certain vehicles are registered in the name of the NPRA.
According to him, the vehicles—allegedly gold in colour—bear 2025 registration numbers, which he argues disproves claims that no new cars were acquired.
“They challenged me to provide evidence, and I have done so through DVLA records, as well as photos and videos,” he stated on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Monday (20 April).
Assafuah insists that the Authority’s response to his earlier allegations contains “palpable falsehoods.”
He further criticised the NPRA for demanding proof while simultaneously denying him access to official information.
