Former Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has continued his campaign tour of the Western Region as part of efforts to strengthen his support base ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer elections slated for January 31, 2026.

As part of his engagements, Dr. Bawumia met with party delegates and supporters in the Jomoro, Ellembelle, and Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira constituencies, where he shared what he described as transformative policies designed to advance both the NPP and the country.

In a post on his official social media page, the former Vice-President expressed appreciation to supporters for the warm reception and enthusiasm shown during his tour.

“I had exciting engagements yesterday with fellow patriots in Jomoro, Ellembelle, and Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituencies, as I shared my transformative policies for both party and country.

The welcome was massive, the message was well received, and the quest to win with me was strongly stated by our hardworking patriots. My sincere appreciation to all of you. Let us remain focused and keep working hard together,” he wrote.

Dr. Bawumia’s recent engagements form part of a nationwide campaign to consolidate delegate support and communicate his vision for a united, innovative, and digitally driven NPP. His message continues to emphasize inclusiveness, transformation, and continuity as key pillars of his leadership agenda.
