KUKURANTUMI, EASTERN REGION – Tensions have erupted in Kukurantumi, a town in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, after a suspect allegedly died while in police custody.

In response, enraged youth stormed the Kukurantumi Police Station and set it ablaze.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage among residents, who are demanding answers from the police over the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s death.
