General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Justin Frimpong Kodua has officially announced his intention to seek re-election for a second term as the party’s chief scribe in the upcoming national executive elections.

Addressing journalists and party faithful at the NPP national headquarters in Accra, Kodua stated that his decision to contest again comes after extensive consultations with party elders, constituency executives, and grassroots members across the country.

Highlighting his record since taking office in July 2022, the former Youth Employment Agency chief executive emphasized his contributions to restructuring party operations, strengthening administrative discipline at the headquarters, and maintaining open communication channels with grassroots structures.

Kodua noted that while the party continues to navigate structural reorganization and internal reforms following recent political developments, his immediate priority remains consolidating unity and building a resilient administrative foundation ahead of the party’s upcoming national delegates conference.

Reiterating his commitment to fair internal electoral processes, he urged party members across all levels to adhere strictly to constitutional provisions and internal dispute-resolution channels as the NPP prepares for its upcoming constituency, regional, and national executive contests.
