The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the nationwide exhibition of its voter register for the party’s 2026 presidential election, as part of efforts to ensure transparency, accuracy, and credibility in the internal electoral process.

In a statement issued and signed by the Secretary of the Presidential Elections Committee, William Yamoah, the party disclosed that the 2026 Presidential Elections Voter Register has been distributed to all constituencies through the various regional secretariats.

According to the statement, the exhibition exercise is aimed at giving party stakeholders, particularly delegates, the opportunity to verify their personal details in their respective constituencies and regions.

This is expected to help identify and correct any discrepancies ahead of the presidential election.

The committee has directed Regional and Constituency Executive Committees, through their designated IT officers, to report all identified errors, including omissions, misspellings, incorrect or missing photographs, and other clerical mistakes.

The verification exercise is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and will end on Monday, January 5, 2026.

All Regional and Constituency Executives, Members of the Constituency Council of Elders, Constituency Patrons, and Electoral Area Coordinators have been tasked to facilitate the smooth and transparent conduct of the process.

To further strengthen the credibility of the exercise, the party has also called on all presidential aspirants to appoint representatives to observe the exhibition at the constituency level.

The NPP says the initiative underscores its commitment to conducting a free, fair, transparent, and credible presidential election ahead of the 2026 polls.
