The Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu, has dismissed reports suggesting he has endorsed or joined the campaign of presidential hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyepong.

In a press release dated 29th November, 2025, Mr. Mac Manu described the reports as false and misleading, stressing that he has not, whether publicly or privately, thrown his support behind the former Assin Central MP.

“My attention has been drawn to reports that I have endorsed and/or joined the campaign of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyepong. I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that I have not endorsed or joined, publicly or privately, the campaign of Hon. Kennedy Agyepong,” he said.

He urged the public to disregard what he called deliberate misinformation, adding that such claims should not be given any attention.
