THE DAMANG MARRIAGE ENGINEERED & PLANNED FROM THE JUBILEE HOUSE: A BY THE 🔥SIDE NARRATIVE NOT TOLD BY MAAME DONKONO.

This is not your regular By the 🔥side story, but I hope you make time to read this anansesɛm before the analytical version.

This is a layman’s analogy of how Engineers & Planners, the company of Ghana’s president’s brother has been favored by the president and his government to acquire the Damang mines.

Fact remains that if Ghanaians like Kwesi Botchway Jnr didnt raise flags and resist the attempt by the current government to misinform the public that this lease agreement was signed by the previous government, this NDC government would have simply handed the mine over to the President’s brother under the guise of ”the previous government signed it over to E&P.

Even so, the current situation points to nepotism, and conflict of interest since it is obvious all deliberate and calculated attempts were made to hand over the mines to the family of the president and that the tender that the so called opened tender by the minister, was just a formality to ensure that the president’s family gets this mine in addition to the Black Volta which was also granted to him through the President’s assistance.

Now to the analogybof a story which used to show how this is a plot by the president and his government led by the minister of lands and natural resources to hand over the country’s natural resources to his brother and family!

Once upon a perilous time in Kananakrom, Baba Guda asked to speak to Ataa Alidu’s Sister, Rida to see if she will marry him. Alidu responded and said he had no objection Baba talking to his sister….It turned out that Rida rejected Baba’s proposal

As fate may have it, Rida is no longer living with Living with Alidus parents but by some twist of events, she is under the care of Babas parents and lives with them…Now Rida asks her new guardians (Baba’s parents) to allow her to continue living her life till she herself decides to marry or otherwise but Baba’s parents refused and gave Rida a one year grace period to lose the right of having the choice to choose who to marry.

Once the one year was due, Baba’s parents put it out there that my Rida’s hand has been given in marriage to Baba and that this happened even before they became Rida’s guardians.

Alidu’ and his parents cried wolf and said it was not right and that but Baba’s parents should rather allow other suitors to have the right to also marry Rida so a choice can be made out of the lot!

Baba’s parents and relatives came out to reference the previous instance where Baba asked permission to speak to Rida as the time Alidu’s parents agreed for Rida to marry Baba …😂

Once their claim was refuted and they were told they lied, they (who are Baba’s parents and now, guardians to Rida) announced that, they have opened up for other suitors to also approach Rida for marriage!

The challenge here is that, Baba Guda’s parents and family headed by Abusuapanyin Conman Tortsa (who has always wanted Rida to marry Baba) will be the ones to decide who is suitable to marry Rida.

Low and behold, after all the so called suiters showed up, it took no time for Abusuapanyin Tortsa and his people to say Baba Guda was the best suited to marry Rida.

What a Kwaku Ananse story!
