We are ready to expose her – Former Suhum MCE fires at Naa Torshie over Common Funds

Former MCE for Suhum, Margaret Darko, has warned that Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) are ready to expose Irene Naa Torshie Addo over how she allegedly treated them during her tenure as Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show, Madam Darko said:
“I want her to know that we, the MMDCEs, are ready to expose her because of how she treated us.”

She urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to give attention to what she described as Naa Torshie’s rants aimed at tarnishing the image of some party leaders.

“Whatever Naa Torshie is claiming to dirty some party leaders, I am urging the NPP not to pay attention to her rants. We must vote for Dr Bawumia in the 2026 flagbearership contest,” she stated.

Madam Darko further encouraged party members to reflect on the achievements of the NPP while in government.

“The NPP should remember the good things we did while in power and vote for the party to return and save the country again,” she added.

She explained that despite receiving very limited funds at the municipal level, she still tried her best to serve her people.

“In the municipality, the small money we got from the Common Fund, we tried to use it to do something meaningful for the assemblies,” she said.

Madam Darko maintained that Naa Torshie should stop blaming Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the challenges that occurred under the DACF.
