Black Stars Set to Begin Camp for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Against CAR & Comoros

ACCRA – The Black Stars, will officially open their training camp this Sunday in preparation for their final two matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The four-time African champions are gearing up for crucial encounters against the Central African Republic (CAR) and Comoros later this month.

Dates to Remember:

October 8: Ghana vs. Central African Republic – Stade d’Honneur de Meknes, Morocco

October 12: Ghana vs. Comoros – Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana

As the competition heats up, Ghana is determined to secure a strong finish in their qualification campaign. The Black Stars will begin camp ahead of their Matchday 9 and Matchday 10 fixtures, which are pivotal in determining their progression toward the 2026 World Cup.

Training Camp and Player Arrival Schedule

Ghana Football Association’s Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, confirmed that players featuring for their clubs this Saturday will report to camp on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Players involved in Sunday club matches will join the squad the following day.

“We expect all the players who will play on Saturday to report to camp on Sunday. Those who will feature on Sunday will arrive on Monday,” Twum said in a recent interview on Woezor TV.
