He’s the only one who can win in 2028 – Mpohor NPP Chairman urges delegates to back Dr. Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Mpohor Constituency, Razak Dadzie, has declared his full support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as the only candidate capable of leading the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour of Mpohor, Chairman Dadzie urged delegates not to make the “mistake” of choosing any other flagbearer aspirant, stressing that Dr. Bawumia has already been marketed to the Ghanaian public and remains the party’s most viable candidate.

“He has already been marketed, and now is the time for us to continue standing firmly behind our proven candidates. We must keep supporting Dr. Bawumia,” he said.

Chairman Dadzie assured Dr. Bawumia of the unwavering support of Mpohor delegates, promising to deliver a significant majority of votes from the constituency.

“For Mpohor, we pledge 80 percent of our votes for Dr. Bawumia. We believe he is the only one who can lead us to victory in 2028,” he emphasized.

He added that the constituency would not risk backing a new candidate when Dr. Bawumia already enjoys nationwide recognition and support.

“We will continue to stand by and promote the candidate we have worked so hard to market. He is number three on the ballot paper, and for Mpohor, our choice is clear,” Chairman Dadzie stated.

His endorsement adds to a growing list of party executives across various constituencies publicly declaring support for Dr. Bawumia as the NPP intensifies its internal campaign ahead of the flagbearer election.
