The National Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party has announced the deployment of regional representatives to constituencies across the country to oversee the upcoming polling station and electoral area elections.

The directive, issued in line with approved electoral guidelines, follows the submission of nominees by the various Regional Steering Committees. The move aims to ensure effective supervision and coordination of the elections at the constituency level.

According to the Secretariat, each constituency executive committee has been formally notified of the Regional Representative assigned to its area. These representatives will work closely with constituency executives to facilitate a smooth electoral process.

As part of their responsibilities, the regional representatives, together with constituency executive committees, are expected to appoint members of the polling station election committees in strict accordance with established guidelines.

The representatives will also act on behalf of the Regional Steering Committees to ensure adherence to electoral procedures, promote transparency and fairness, and guarantee timely reporting of all proceedings, including any irregularities.

The National Secretariat has further charged constituency executive committees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and diligence in delivering credible and orderly elections nationwide.

A detailed list of the assigned Regional Representatives to their respective constituencies has been attached to the communication for reference.

The Secretariat expressed confidence that, with strong collaboration and adherence to guidelines, the elections will be conducted transparently and credibly across the country.
