ACCRA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed receipt of a petition calling for the suspension of former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, and Kwasi Kwarteng, spokesperson for presidential hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

In a letter signed by William Yamoah, the Party’s Director of Finance and Administration, the NPP stated that the petition has been forwarded to the National Executive Committee (NEC) for review and appropriate action, in accordance with the Party’s constitution.

The Party assured the petitioners that their concerns have been acknowledged and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its core values, internal structures, and due process.
