Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the respected Member of Parliament for Assin South, took a firm stand against malicious rumors circulating globally on digital platforms.

The allegations, which falsely accused him of being involved in same-sex activity, have been branded as entirely unfounded, reckless, and harmful to his reputation. The defamatory material, widely shared on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter (X), claims that Hon. Fordjour had intimate relations with an individual, which has been thoroughly rejected by the MP and his legal team.

The accusations made against Hon. Fordjour are not only false but are also a complete fabrication.

The Member of Parliament categorically denies any form of association with the individual making these claims.

According to his legal representation, these statements are an attempt to tarnish his character and public image without any basis in fact. The MP has never met, communicated with, or been involved with the person making these accusations.

The legal letter, issued by Hon. Fordjour’s legal counsel Lawrence L. K. Botchway Jnr, demands the immediate removal of the defamatory content, a formal public apology, and a retraction of the statements. The letter also warns that if the offending party fails to comply within seven days, Hon. Fordjour will pursue further legal action, including seeking compensation for the reputational damage caused.

In his demand letter, Hon. Fordjour’s legal team emphasizes the seriousness of the defamation and the need for accountability. The letter also notes the global reach of these defamatory statements, spreading across social media and digital platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Hon. Fordjour’s legal team is determined to see justice served and holds firm in their demand for an apology and retraction. They have made it clear that further legal steps will be taken if the offending party does not comply with the terms of the demand within the seven-day deadline.
