The Wa Central Constituency office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper West Region has been vandalised by some alleged party supporters.

The Monday, May 26, 2026, incident resulted in damage to parts of the office building and other properties, including plastic chairs, party official documents, among others.

The perpetrators also made away with a flat-screen TV that was mounted inside the office.

As details are still emerging, unconfirmed reports indicate that the action may be connected to the party’s ongoing polling station and electoral area election processes.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the party has yet to release an official statement on the matter.
