The Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Collins Adomako-Mensah, has commended the Minister for Energy, John Abdulai Jinapor, for acknowledging the challenges within the energy sector.

Speaking on Badwam on Adom TV, he noted a clear distinction between the minister’s communication and that of some party communicators.

According to him, the minister’s admission that there are challenges in the sector is a crucial first step toward resolving them.

“When a minister accepts that there are challenges, it is the beginning of the solution,” he stated.

He added that the minister’s approach, which included sympathising with Ghanaians over the current energy situation, contrasts with others who focus on blaming previous administrations.

“…unlike some communicators who are blaming the previous government for this current energy issue,” he added.

Mr Adomako-Mensah emphasized that recognizing the existence of a problem is essential in addressing it effectively, describing the minister’s stance as a positive step in tackling the energy crisis.
